UWA Cultural Precinct Collective

People gathered at an event hosted by the UWA Museums Student Committee.Art and Culture form an important part of university life, and all students are encouraged to engage in the many activities on offer at The University of Western Australia (UWA).

The Crawley Campus is home to six cultural facilities including museums, galleries, collections and SymbioticA that aim to educate, entertain and enlighten students.

In a bid to develop a strong student presence within these venues, a committee was formed in 2011.

Key objectives of this student-driven committee include;

  • Provide student perspective on gallery events and exhibitions
  • Develop events and initiatives to connect students to their museums and galleries
  • Encourage students to make the most of the facilities available to them.

Get Involved

Participation in this group connects students to existing art and culture on campus, and also allows them to shape future events and activities.

The committee is always looking for new members to come on board to share their unique perspective and fresh ideas.

Membership is open to all UWA students, and the committee meets quarterly.
