Workshops, seminars and short courses

Diploma Courses

As well as diploma programs, UWA offers short-courses, public lectures, masterclasses, symposia and workshops.

Institute of Advanced Studies
Contemporary issues are the focus for debate at the many free public lectures, masterclasses and symposia the Institute hosts throughout the academic year. For those with an inquisitive mind, IAS will challenge and inspire.
SymbioticA facilitates the utilisation of science for creative and cultural outcomes. Alongside core research into life sciences and technologies, bioethics, ecology, the residency program and the academic program (undergraduate and postgraduate), SymbioticA runs intensive, hands-on workshops and disseminates research outcomes and engagement with the field of biological art through exhibitions, symposiums and weekly seminars.
UWA Extension
Developing the whole person is the philosophy of UWA Extension, WA's largest provider of adult short-course learning opportunities. Community, workplace and professional education disciplines are offered through a series of visiting speakers, corporate in-house training and customised study groups.
