Using break-through augmented reality technology, the luminous mobile app will feature Second Life objects embedded throughout various locations. Guests will need an hand-held device such as an iPhone or Android mobile device.

The installation

Second life objects embedded in the landscape.

Using breakthrough technology on hand held devices, the “luminous” app will present thirteen projects from undergraduate, graduate students and practitioners from the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and the Visual Arts staff, alumni and students.

Pioneering the use of Augmented Reality the grounds of University of Western Australia will come alive with animated sculptures from individual artists.

This is a world’s first sculpture exhibition opening on LUMINOUSnight.

Guests will need to have a mobile device like an iPhone or an Android smart phone or tablet to explore the art through the '[email protected]'  augmented reality mobile app.
